Region Guide: The Great Plains

The April/May issue will feature our inaugural special section, Region Guide: The Great Plains. This new and exciting section in Native American Art magazine will highlight artists, museums and galleries in this region, which stretches from Texas through the middle of the country into Canada. States include Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Wyoming, Montana, North and South Dakota, Colorado and Iowa. This area is known for a variety of artwork, including beadwork and quillwork. Many different tribes and cultures will be represented, including Blackfeet, Crow, Plains Cree, Mandan, Cheyenne, Arapaho, Kiowa, Osage and many others. Celebrate the Great Plains with this inaugural region guide!
