“My designs are influenced by Southeastern tribes and modern lines mixed with a rock ’n roll aesthetic.”

“I am currently working on a new collection, expanding into textile sculptures and wall hangings,” says Stewart of her latest work. “The inspiration behind my collection is my Mvskoke (Creek) grandfather, James Fife. He believed that as long as we have our native land and access to freshwater, we will be able to provide for future generations until the end of time. Therefore, he consistently emphasized, we must always do everything in our power to protect and nourish these resources. I hope the collection will inspire others to take an active approach in protecting our land and waterways.”
