It is a gorgeous, dark leather saddle with sterling silver conchos that feature nugget style turquoise in the centers. The Saddle comes with a matching headstall, bit and breast collar along with a framed letter detailing its origins. There is a photo of Tommy Singer and the saddle to display with the masterpiece! According to the paperwork and previous owner, this saddle came out of the Gene Autry Museum in California. Original price on this saddle was reportedly $50,000! All of the silverwork is sterling silver and it has Tommy Singer's maker's plate on the rear of the cantle. James Barton and Brent Joe are also two of the Navajo Silversmith who have been identified as working on this great Saddle (they are known silversmiths who worked for Tommy Singer). Description: Wow! This stunning and unique carved turquoise necklace is a one of a kind! The carvings have been strongly attributed to the master Zuni carver, Leekya. Several experts in the field of vintage and antique Native American jewelry have also verified the attribution. The last 2 pictures are from the famous old C.G. Wallace auction catalog (put out by Sotheby's in the 1970s) which show very similar Leekya carvings in other necklaces from the 1930s. It is a choker style necklace with seven carved turquoise tabs and handmade sterling silver beads. Please note, the turquoise carving just to the left of the center piece is not the original. That piece was broke and subsequently repaired, but the previous owner did not like the repair, so he had a replacement made. However, the original which was repaired is still included (see pictures where the original is sitting beside the replacement). We will convey the original piece along with the necklace. It also conveys in a riker's shadow box display as pictured. This is a highly collectible necklace and it would go perfect in your collection! The belt and pendant feature nicely made conchos set with Lone Mountain turquoise (there is an old tag on the back saying the turquoise is Lone Mountain and it also looks the part). The Pendant was actually made to look like one of the conchos from the belt. It was subsequently hung on this vintage sterling silver necklace. It could be removed and put on another necklace if desired, or if a larger belt is needed, it could be converted to a concho for the belt by a competent silversmith.
