Maricopa Indian pottery tall neck jar by Ida Redbird, 1892-1971. Traditionally hand built with native clay and slips, mesquite sap paint, pit fired. Standing 17" tall, 8" diameter. This is the most difficult form to accomplish successfully! One of the finest pieces of Ida's we have seen! Excellent condition.
