Tested as being sterling silver. Maker: There is a name etched onto the back, but it is hard to read. It also appears there is an old traders code on the back which may have been partially obliterated by the name that was put on there. This great vintage turquoise cluster bracelet is from the famous, Jewel Box collection. The Jewel Box was owned by Morrey and Honeylou Resnick. They opened in 1949 and were located in downtown Phoenix. Later it was moved to North Central Avenue, until it closed in May, 2006. Over the years, they amassed a large collection of Native American Jewelry. Several of their pieces were photographed in the famous Arizona Highways turquoise issues from the 1970s, including the well-known magazines of the January 1974 issue, the August 1974 issue and the March 1975 issue. The Reznik's original tag and information has been left attached. This great bracelet is set with 76 natural turquoise stones and is listed as being from the Jewel Box pawn vault collection and was in the owner's collection. It has a great old patina from the 1950s. Tested as sterling silver. Maker: Unmarked, but vintage Zuni in style. Approx. Age: Listed in the Jewel Box inventory as being 1940s - 50s. Size: Inside circumference measures approx. 5-5/8" with an additional 1-1/4" opening (fits a 7-1/8" wrist.) 2-3/4" at its widest part and weighs 73 g. Condition: Good for its age. The naja's are sandcast and the beads are also "ingot" (hand forged). The naja is set with a lovely green stone (which may have been added at a later date). It is strung on cotton string. A COLLECTORS DREAM! This is a once in a lifetime kind of opportunity to own a show saddle by the famous Navajo silversmith, Tommy Singer. It is a gorgeous, dark leather saddle with sterling silver conchos that feature nugget style turquoise in the centers. The Saddle comes with a matching headstall, bit and breast collar along with a framed letter detailing its origins. There is a photo of Tommy Singer and the saddle to display with the masterpiece! According to the paperwork and previous owner, this saddle came out of the Gene Autry Museum in California. Original price on this saddle was reportedly $50,000! All of the silverwork is sterling silver and it has Tommy Singer's maker's plate on the rear of the cantle. James Barton and Brent Joe are also two of the Navajo Silversmith who have been identified as working on this great Saddle (they are known silversmiths who worked for Tommy Singer). There are over 130 PIECES of individually crafted pieces of silver on this set, most of which have turquoise settings! THIS BRACELET IS ON THE COVER OF THE MARCH 1975 ARIZONA HIGHWAYS MAGAZINE AND ALSO ON P. 7! This stunning bracelet is from the famous, Jewel Box collection. The Jewel Box was owned by Morrey and Honeylou Resnick. They opened in 1949 and were located in downtown Phoenix. Later it was moved to North Central Avenue, until it closed in May, 2006. Over the years, they amassed a large collection of Native American Jewelry. Several of their pieces were photographed in the famous Arizona Highways turquoise issues from the 1970s, including the well-known magazines of the January 1974 issue, the August 1974 issue and the March 1975 issue. The Reznik's original information has been left on it. According to the Reznik's records, this published bracelet is set with 115 Lone Mountain turquoise stones and is by an unknown Zuni artist. Tested as sterling silver. Maker: Unmarked, but Zuni style and listed as Zuni in the Jewel Box inventory records. Approx. Age: Circa 1950s. Size: Inside circumference measures approx. 6-1/8" with an additional 1-1/2" opening (fits a 7-5/8" wrist.) 3-5/8" at its widest part and weighs 105.2 g. Condition: Good for its age. WOW! This is a gorgeous belt buckle featuring a RARE Lander Blue Turquoise cabochon that is bezel set, surrounded by hand crafted sterling silver crated by Navajo silversmith, Patrick Taylor. Marked as sterling silver. Additional Info: A great looking, authentic, Lander Blue Turquoise cabochon. This stone came from the Egeland/Yoder collection. Barbara Yoder was a well-known and respected dealer of Native arts and jewelry. Her and her husband (the former Jerry Egeland) were original investors in the Lander Blue claim in the early 1970s. They took their payback in the form of turquoise, and as such, amassed one of the largest private collections of Landers. Some of their Lander collection was featured in the book, Turquoise, The Gem of the Centuries, by Oscar T. Branson, published in 1975. The Yoder (Egeland) turquoise was featured on P. 26. Their collection is well known as being authentic. As additional provenance, Bob Brucia of Nevada Gem, and current owner of the Lander claim, has reviewed this stone and certified the stone as being an authentic piece of Lander Blue Turquoise.
