History! The Post Office at Mealstoyoc opened in 1928 at the end of the Roaring 20's, when travelers were coming to the west. It closed just 4-years later in 1932 during the Great Depression. It probably was made for the Postmaster.

This weaving is from 2006, by the Master Navajo Weaver Ella Taylor. It was sold to the Collector through Toadlena Trading Post. While it is a A/B Weaving, it is hard to tell. One side has a total across the rug lighter look on the browns. On our website I will have photos of both sides.
