Large silver dangle earrings by Ralph Tawangyawma of Hopi, 1894-1972. Known to collectors as Ralph T, his variety of styles is unlimited. Large scale silver channels inlaid with deep green turquoise, domed and precise. 2 1/2" total length, the ovals are 1 3/4" dangling from omega posts to support the weight. Signed, marked Sterling. Date unknown.

Zuni Knifewing God channel inlay circa 1950. An old friend returns! I bought this from Marti Struever 20 years ago at the Marin show, sold it within minutes, then Marti wanted to buy it back, seller's remorse. I told the buyer it would have to revert to me when she was done with it, and here it is! 2" diameter, perfect #8 turquoise in jet, sterling silver. Can be worn as a pin or pendant.
