While many are familiar with the annual, in-person Whitehawk Antique Indian & Ethnographic Art Show hosted in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Whitehawk now offers a virtual experience for online buying opportunities. Collectors will have access to an abundance of Indigenous artworks right at their fingertips. This includes basketry, carvings, weavings, beadwork, paintings, jewelry, presented by around 40 dealers from around the world.

“One of Whitehawk’s overarching goals is to expose the world to the sometimes-unrecognized art from ethnic and Indigenous peoples from across the planet,” explains Kim Martindale, president and CEO of Whitehawk Associates. “Adding to the company’s roster of fundamental relationships with organizations dedicated to preserving and showcasing these artforms, Whitehawk’s virtual shows create a chance to see the best of the best from the convenience of your computer, your phone or iPad. Complementing the show is a second virtual show scheduled for February 21 to 28, 2026.”

The virtual showcase, going live on November 9, boasts artworks stemming from six continents. “One of the great things about these shows is the surprising and often unexpected examples of great art that have emerged from a worldwide effort of collecting,” Martindale adds. “Collectors and enthusiasts are exposed to curated offerings that can originate from a millennia ago to examples that are comparatively modern.”
Martindale also notes that participants in the Whitehawk virtual shows consider their experiences as the ultimate treasure hunt. “While some of the art can be expected, there is truly no way to anticipate what dealers have uncovered in their unending pursuit of great, great material,” he says.

Navajo bracelets
Attendees will find Acoma ollas, Navajo jewelry, tribal masks and a Kiowa beaded miniature cradle board, among many additional treasures. “We want the world to discover mankind’s continuing and remarkable interpretations of the world around us,” shares Martindale.
