A number of recently acquired works will be featured during an exhibition at the Tucson Museum of Art in Southern Arizona this fall.
Cut and Paste: New Acquisitions Featuring Collage Works showcases a range of artworks in the TMA’s collection that utilize the collage method. A term with French origins, “collage,” means “to glue,” and involves the assembling of materials like cut paper, photographs, textiles, print media or found objects, which are then attached to a supporting surface.
