Welcome to our third Paint, Paper & Photography section in Native American Art. As with our other two iterations of the section, it was tough to bring the coverage down to a manageable size simply because there are so many artists worth covering, so many new shows opening and an abundance of great art on the market. When we started this section in 2021, we worried we were going to have a hard time filling the pages, and then content came rolling in. This year’s coverage includes William Healey’s art collection at the Saint Louis Museum of Art, Marie Watt’s flatworks in New York, Chris Pappan in New Mexico, and much more. We hope that these artworks inspire new exploration for our readers within the medium of two-dimensional artwork. Enjoy!
