Palace Jewelers at Manitou Galleries in Santa Fe, New Mexico, will be presenting its very first jewelry auction with online bidding beginning November 21.
The First Annual Palace Jewelers Auction will feature nearly 200 lots and will include a variety of jewelry at many price points, including major pieces from several top artists.

Wes Willie (Navajo), 14k yellow gold and sterling silver Yei face tufa cast bracelet with fossilized ivory, turquoise, coral, lapis and ironwood Estimate: $2,700/6,500
One of the early top lots is a gold katsina necklace made with Mediterranean coral by Hopi jeweler Emmett Navakuku. The beaded strands are adorned with gold star and katsina designs. The work is estimated at $15,000 to $25,000.
Navajo jewelry artist Wes Willie will have several works in the sale, including a yellow gold cobblestone inlay cuff bracelet (est. $5,500/11,500) with sugilite, opal, turquoise and coral, and also a yellow gold and sterling silver Yei face tufa cast bracelet (est. $2,700/6,500) with fossilized ivory, turquoise, coral, lapis and ironwood.
The jewelry pieces will range from traditional silver and turquoise pieces to modern fine art jewelry from artists such as Navajo maker Darryl Dean Begay, whose yellow gold cuttlebone and sugilite ring will be offered with an estimated value of $1,750 to $4,000.

Other artists represented in the sale are Carl Begay, Robert and Bernice Leekya, Edison Cummings, Frederica Antonio, Kevin Pochema, Philander Begay, Paul Livingston, Edith Tsabetsaye, Wilbert Manning, Isaac Dial, Kenneth Johnson, Tommy Jackson, Vernon Haskie and Aaron Anderson.
In addition to jewelry, the sale will also highlight pottery and katsinas.
