Southwest Pop
As a tribute to Elaine Horwitch, Lovena Ohl and the New Mexico Museum of Art, Bill Faust has assembled a unique show featuring the “greats” of that earlier era who are being shown in the Southwest Rising: Contemporary Art and the Legacy of Elaine Horwitch, now on display in Santa Fe. The retrospective on the Horwitch Era will give collectors the opportunity to purchase original art from those early pioneers of a genre in American Art so aptly named “Southwest Pop.”

Collecting Jewelry: Curator H.P. Mera’s Trip to Navajo Country in 1932
The exhibit consists of jewelry collected by Dr. Harry P. Mera during a trip to the Navajo Nation in the fall of 1932. These works shed light on the importance of silver to the Navajo people of the time and form the inspiration of the jewelry artists that have followed.
