Native American Art will highlight museums with Native American art, exhibitions or collections in the October/November issue. We reimagined the section in 2023, and it’s been a huge hit ever since. The Museum Guide encourages readers to mark their calendars as we highlight the hottest museum exhibitions opening throughout the 2026-2027 museum calendar, and to also travel to these museums and celebrate the artwork on view. The guide shines a spotlight on museums from coast to coast, from Florida to Washington, Maine to Southern California, and everything in between. Get the scoop on the destinations and exhibitions in the October/November issue.

Buyer’s Guide: Across the Generations

In this special, first-of-its-kind special section for Native American Art, we will focus on families and how they pass their art from one generation to the next. Buyer’s Guide: Across the Generations will feature pairs of artists: fathers and daughters, mothers and sons, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and many other combinations that reflect how Native American artists acquire the skills to make world-class art. These family groupings of artists are common, as evident by any trip to a market, where booths are filled with sometimes three and four generations of artists. Celebrate these artists and their accomplishments in the October/November issue.
